Tropaeolum peregrinum

Native to the Andes from Peru to Chile, Tropaeolum peregrinum is an annual or short-lived climbing herb with slender twining stems. Deeply lobed leaves form a light green screen around abundant golden yellow flowers. Each flower has two broad upper petals and three narrow fringed lower petals surrounding a long curved spur. Photographed in the Sacred Valley, Peru.
