Tovaria pendula

Native from Mexico through Central America to the tropical Andes, Tovaria pendula is a perennial herb or soft-stemmed subshrub of moist forest and shaded edges. Long loose racemes carry many small greenish white flowers with narrow petals and prominent stamens. Rounded berries develop along the pendent flower stalks. Photographed in Colombia.
