Leucothrinax morrisii

Native from the Florida Keys through several Caribbean islands, Leucothrinax morrisii is a small fan palm of coastal scrub, limestone ground, and other exposed tropical habitats. The slender trunk supports a rounded crown of divided, nearly circular leaves. Branched inflorescences emerge among the leaves and carry many small pale flowers followed by rounded fruits.
