Siphocampylus giganteus


A tropical Andean shrub in the bellflower family, Siphocampylus giganteus inhabits humid mountain forests and forest margins. Long pale yellow-green flowers form curved tubes that split into narrow lobes, while the staminal column projects from the opening. Broad glossy leaves with prominent veins surround the flowering branches. Photographed in Colombia.
