Salvia angulata

A tropical American herb in the mint family, Salvia angulata grows along forest margins and other moist open habitats. Its upright stems carry spaced whorls of small pale blue to lavender two-lipped flowers, each emerging from a green calyx. Opposite leaves have toothed margins and pronounced veins.
