Senna surattensis

A shrub or small tree native to parts of tropical Asia and the Pacific, this species bears pinnate leaves with paired oval leaflets. Golden yellow flowers open in terminal or axillary clusters and display broad unequal petals around several prominent curved stamens. Slender pods form after flowering.
