Piptadenia retusa

Piptadenia retusa is a wet-tropical woody plant native from central Mexico through Central America and northern South America to western Bolivia. It may grow as a liana, shrub, or tree. Its compound leaves accompany dense cylindrical flower spikes made up of many minute greenish-yellow flowers. Research-grade observations document the species in Colombia and Ecuador.
