Triumfetta lappula

Native to Bolivia, northeastern Brazil, northern Brazil, Cayman Is., Colombia, and Costa Rica and nearby regions, it is an herbaceous plant in the Malvaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 160 to 4,250 feet. It grows on non-woody stems and produces yellow flowers among or above the foliage. Photographed in Colombia.
