Clusia alata
Clusia alata is a flowering shrub native to southern Central America and northern South America. The species produces small but striking flowers with fleshy white petals and numerous yellowish stamens arranged in a dense crown, giving them a brush-like appearance. The flowers are borne close to the leaves, often clustered around emerging buds. Photographed near Boquete, Panama.
