Cestrum megalophyllum
Cestrum megalophyllum is a shrub species native to parts of South America. This species produces dense inflorescences made up of narrow tubular flowers that emerge in compact clusters directly along the woody stems, a characteristic arrangement that distinguishes it from several other species of the genus. The flowers are yellow-green, and are tightly grouped in spherical to elongated clusters, giving the appearance of spiky bursts along the branches. Photographed in Colombia.
