Originating from Eastern Asia, and an invasive species in many locations, particularly in southeastern states, proliferating in disturbed areas like roadsides, fields, and lawns. This annual plant is known for its yellow flowers, blooming year-round in tropical climates and during late spring to early summer in temperate zones. Photographed in Manizales, Colombia.
