Spathiphyllum wallisii (Peace Lily)
A popular houseplant known for its creamy or ivory spadix—a densely crowded inflorescence—that is typically overshadowed by a large, white spathe, with occasional specimens producing two spathes. The plant's flowers change color with age, transitioning from their original hues to green. A natural range extending to parts of Mexico, the Caribbean, and northern South America. Several cultivars have been developed. Photographed in Cartago, Colombia.
