A small tree native to the tropical regions of the Americas around the Caribbean. It is recognized for its resilient nature, as it can thrive in various soil types and withstands saline conditions, making it a common sight in coastal landscapes. The vibrant orange flowers are prominently displayed throughout the year.  Photographed in Barranquilla, Colombia where it is used as a street tree.
