Cochlospermum vitifolium (Buttercup Tree)


Native to Belize, Bolivia, northeastern Brazil, northern Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica and nearby regions, this is a tree in the Cochlospermaceae family. Common between Cartagena and Barranquilla and western Panama. It is the national flower of Belize. Photographed in western Panama.
