A Cecropia telealba tree silver-white leaves hit by sunlight on a cloudy day
Cecropia telealba

Originating from the regions of Colombia and Venezuela between 4,800 and 8,500 feet. A tree that is easily spotted from a distance due to its silver-white shine. The silvery effect is due to hairs that cover the green leaves, which when hit by the sun makes the large leaves appear to be a sliver white color. Photographed in the central Andes of Colombia.
