Blakea granatensis

Native to the tropical forests of Central and South America, particularly flourishing in Colombia, the shrub​ finds its home at elevations ranging from 3,600 to 9,000 feet. It has glossy dark green foliage, white flowers with yellow anthers, and a long flowering period. Photographed in the Eastern mountain Andes range of Colombia.
