Schnella glabra

This plant is a woody vine or scrambling shrub native from southern Mexico through tropical America. Coiling tendrils support its climbing stems. The leaves are usually divided into two lobes, with prominent veins radiating from the base. Clusters of white to creamy flowers have an upright upper petal marked with dark red dots and streaks. The dry pods split open when mature. Photographed in Atlántico, Colombia.
