Native to the moist, shady forests of Central America to Northwestern Colombia, this unique plant, has established itself in various parts of the world. The plant's stature, growing to a woody, prickly shrub of at least 4 meters tall, coupled with its striking orange flowers resembling rose blossoms. A medicinal plant utilized for various ailments.
